Zip through the Delhi Metro routes via Google transit

Confused amongst routes and timings of Delhi metro? Simply log on to Google Transit and access updated information.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Google India have announced a partnership through Google Transit with an aim to provide complete information on Delhi Metro schedules and routes.

Google Transit is a navigation tool on Google maps that provides information on train timings, station locations, frequency of service, time taken for travel and ticket fares. It already has a tie-up with Chennai MRTS, Kolkata Metro, Hyderabad Metro transit services for commuters.

This service will be free of cost service and will be available on desktops as well as mobiles to provide complete benefit to every kind of commuter.

    Hi Vishal

    Nice post. This application was launched few days back and now it is working.
    1. Visit http://maps.google.com,
    2. Go to Delhi area
    3. Click on “Get Directions”.
    4. Select ‘By public transit’ option.
    5. Try sample query from “Pitam Pura” to “Mayur Vihar”.

    It shows complete directions/itinerary and route on the map. It even gives :
    + Travel time (about 2 hours)
    + Fare. (22 Rs)
