Facebook is really a mind blowing Idea. One Idea to connect people turned into a revolution. An idea is what matters. Million Dollar Idea, One small concept is what it takes to create history. Living in todays age we are the part of history in the making. Hats of to facebook complete team to come up with so many features and conecting people all around.

I am really addicted to facebook. It helps me communicate with friends and loved ones from all over the world. It’s so wonderful that something so small can become a major trend of the entire planet. Aside, from socializing, I enjoy playing games on facebook and it’s fun and entertaining to participate in a social site with really fun games in it.

Well done! I love how you presented the history of FB. Not only is it interesting, the timeline presentation makes it easy to follow. I had no idea! Guess I’ll keep an eye out for the IPO!!

Well everyone, all I can say is is that Mark came up with a phenomenal platform that has changed the way a majority of the world’s population communicate and able to keep up with friend and ex’s of old. There are many good points to Facebook but there are some bad points to Facebook. As of late, I am a bit disturbed at some of the privacy issues Facebook has caused. Like most companies, that grow and grow fast, Facebook has has millions thrown at it by investors. In those cases, the owner most of the time lets that growth and money get to his head. The biggest and faster the company grows, the more powerful they feel they become.
Facebook is a powerful face on the Internet now know doubt. But Mark needs to tone it down a bit. The number of Facebook users are staggering but there are hundreds by the day that delete their Facebook accounts because of the privacy issues.
I hope Mark will build some more controls in Facebook to appeal to the masses that have this concern.

@DougTaylor – I absolutely second you on that. Facebook should pay some heed to the fact that some people might want to communicate with a limited people only and hence, their privasy should be respected. Let’s hope Mark does something about it!

facebook is so lame, it’s hard to be associated with the generation (and profession) that made it famous. but still, the movie looks interesting.
September 22, 2010 at 1:03 am
Well, maybe lame for you…but im sure the 500 million people on facebook don;t think so at all
and yes, the movie surely looks good.

Great post about facebook history. Although it only became totally famous on year 2009, I still salute all the founders and the creator of this number 1 online social site. It’s the daily conversation and connection with our friends and love ones that binds us all together to have a closed and tighter relationships.

Facebook has inspired a lot of us to start something, especially the ideas we have long dropped on the way. If a young man as MARK ZUCKERBERG can make it, we too can make it. Information at our disposal is too much for one to be poor. Thanks to ZUCKERBERG

Absolutely Ominyi…it has been an inspiration to a whole new generation of youngsters….that is exactly why we see so many new start ups coming up!
