Product Review: Fastrack Sports Watch-9291SL02

Six months is a good time to understand and appreciate the value that a product has on offer. Its been six months that I have been sporting this watch from Fastrack. At INR 2895, it is not the most expensive watches you are ever going to buy but its not cheap either for a student.

As you can see from the pic attached, the watch has a big dial and carries quite a nice mix of colors in the background of the dial. Although classified under the Sport category (primarily because of Fastrack’s Positioning), I don’t think its a sports watch by any stretch of imagination. While you cannot wear for an interview, this is certainly something nice for a casual party or get-together.

Coming to its performance, it has lasted quite well thus far. Here is an analysis

Positives

• It has not bothered me with any functional trouble and seems to take the grunt of my rough handling quite well.
• The stainless Steel finish of the dial makes it tough and also scratch resistant

Neutrals

• The overall comfort is high but the weight might take a little time to get used to.

Negatives

• The leather strap is not of great quality. It has already started to wither away. Indian watches given the sultry conditions cannot succumb on the strap.

Overall: A decent buy but could have been great value for money with a little lighter torso and a better quality strap. Here is the rating-
