yea, i heard about this campaign to reduce the number of ppl who pee in public……..like where ever they write “NOT TO PEE HERE” they pee over it…..like they wanna ask to them “WHO IS YOUR DADDY?”

you must be knowing about it…….you are from Delhi……..i’m too…..

That was a fun read! But seriously, I can well relate to what you are talking about. Public urinals in Mumbai are there, albeit few and far between. And of course, every city could do with many more. When I visited Singapore, I saw that there were urinals built at strategic points and were maintained absolutely well. Your blog title and turn of phrase was very entertaining. Keep up the good work

Iappreciate the write-up, the subject well chosen. the Govt’s. all Deptts. in general are spending crores of Rupees on publicity to promote figure of Politicians as no Advertisement in News paper is without picture of a Minister, Mayavati’s statues are another example of wasteful spending, but they have no funds for common man facilities. As regards to full bladder pressures it is intolerable for a Diabetic Patient. May be most of those using open/public places are such suferrers. Alas! MCD & other related Govt. Departments have no idea of such blogs. Concerned authorities have no time for such affairs.

Very interesting Blog , I completely agree with you reagrding the problem . What make me shirk is why are we doing it to just portray our good image in common Weath , why not do it to just improve ourself and start a pan India mission .

bladder issue is the most torturous issue when it arises…
we definately need public toilets in hugenic conditions…

@Kevin Hey Kevin Nice observation and undoubtedly uncivilised to urinate in public. But my point was not to point our those who have no respect for civilisation but for those who actually want to act civilised but as explained in the experience above, find it difficult to. Also I dont seem to understand the fact that no public urinals in the countries mentioned. So how do these guys manage...either they plan meticulously or have strong bladders. Regards

I have been to a few countries like Norway, China, Italy and Spain. But I have not found any public urinals over there. While some places have fewer people (like Norway), most other places are quite populous. But I have never seen a single person urinate in public even though there are much more open spaces over there.

I think it just comes down to civic sense which we Indians seem to lack in our country.
